Motorless Hot Rods

The annual trolley derby organised by the Old Boys' Hockey Club drew big entries. The trolleys came in all shapes and sizes and there was feverish activity in the pits as hopeful Jack Brabhams completed last-minute oilings.

The most swept-up trolley was the "737" of Darryl Taylor who again sped off with the major trophy (he hit 43 m.p.h. on one downhill run).
