Americans Take Nelson Tennis Titles

Visiting Americans dominated the Nelson provincial tennis championships, taking all major titles, John Zweig won the men's singles; Barbara Wright the women's singles; Bill Wright and Mark Elliott the men's doubles; Mrs Wright and Margaret Ross (Nelson) the women's doubles, and Mr and Mrs Wright the mixed doubles. Rain interfered with play at the latter stages of the tournament and some matches were played on an indoor court at the Richmond Y.M.C.A.
