Yachting Season Opens

The Nelson Yacht Club opened its season a few weeks earlier than in the past. Opening day events were held in very squally weather and the pickup boat had a busy time with capsizes. In contrast, events of the second day were held in very calm conditions, and many boats had trouble keeping way on.
