A couple of storemen with the N.M.A. Company are Alan Dick and Raeburn Wilkes. Alan, who is a bachelor, has been with the company about seven months, after leaving Waimea College. Interests? "Girls, " said Alan, and pic shooting. Quite a combination! Rae has been with the firm 12 years. He's married and has four children. He is off shortly on a trip to Japan. His interests include, following Rugby and gardening.

Dom Aprea is always getting in people's hair. It's his business. Dom is single and has been a hair-dresser for 30 years. He came to Nelson in 1943 and his interests include gardening and long walks.

Surprised by us on the steps of the post office were Rosemary and Raewyn Cotton and Sandra McKee, three single girls. Rosemary is employed at Kitt's Shoe Shop, is 16 and has been three months with the store. All three attended Nayland College. Her interests are netball, reading and softball. Raewyn is 18, a clerk with the legal firm of Glasgow Son and Tidswell for the last five months. Reading, netball, sewing and swimming are her leisure-time pursuits. Sandra is a clerk with Kirby Carriers. She also is 18 and has been with the firm for 17 months. She came to Nelson from Cambridge five years ago, plays netball and basketball and likes swimming.

Not long ago Michael Fisher was a very valued "Photo News" runner. Now he's a fitter-welder apprentice with Read and McLaren. He attended Nelson College and his interests involve shooting, motor cycles, and all outdoor activities.
