Leaving Nelson after 10½ years are Ian and Joan Kelland, and family, Stephanie, Deborah, Richard and Nicola. Ian was merchandise manager with the NMA Company in Nelson and he is to take up a similar position in Hamilton. Joan has been teaching at Auckland Point School for the last 18 months.

Ray and Ruth Bagnail, one-time Nelson residents, passed through Nelson on their way to a six months' holiday trip to the British Isles. Ray came from Britain to Nelson eight years ago and he and Ruth later shifted to Hokitika.

Another staff change at the NMA Company. Replacing Graham Strachan as accountant, is Martyn Sandlant, formerly of Gisborne. His wife, Mary, and children Juliet, Graham, and Philip, joined him in Nelson recently.
