Parker Shield Harriers

The Trafalgar club had its first success in the Parker Shield inter-club harrier contest at Wakapuaka recently, beating Nelson into first place by 11 points. For the first time also, the first 18 places counted and clubs were restricted to 12 runners a grade. Methodist was third and Richmond fourth.
