South Island Croquet

Big entries from many parts of the South Island, and a pair from Australia, heightened interest in the South Island croquet championships played at Nelson early in the new year. Of interest to those who consider the game has charm only for those in later life was the entry of 16-year-old Roger Murfitt, of Christchurch. He finds the game has tremendous appeal.
