Bridal Gown of the Year

Thirty-Four gowns worn by brides throughout the Nelson province during the past year had a second airing recently. The occasion was the Bridal Gown of the Year contest sponsored by McKay's Ltd. Winner of the event was Mrs Pamela Montgomery. She is seen leftt, (top) with other placegetters, Mesdames L. M. Fowler, Brightwater, and M. Tear, Stoke, who was third (at right).
