Farewell to Popular Superintendent

Nurses of the Nelson Public Hospital, both past and present, gave tangible evidence of the regard in which the retiring medical superintendent of the hospital, Dr P.C.Brunette, was held, when they presented him with a beautiful engraved automatic wrist watch at a farewell function in the nurses' home. Many of the former nurses, some of whom had worked with Dr Brunette when he came to the hospital in 1935, came from long distances for this function.
