Five Generations
Mrs Albina Teague, who was 100 years old last month, celebrated her century with morning tea party at the Nelson Public Hospital. At top right: Nurses Ruth Ingham, Dianne Granger and Adrienne Kingsland show Mrs Teague the many messages of congratulation she received (including one from the Queen). At right, the family. From left: George Teague (grandson), Mara Teague, Doris Teague, Bert Mitchell (a nephew, from Australia), and son Harry Teague.
An unusual family group, covering five generations. Second from right is Mrs Best, and at the right is her daughter, Mary Coleman. On the left-hand side is her grand-daughter, Ena Smith, and at left, her great-grand-daughter Mary-Anne Beard holding her great-great-granddaughter Adrian Beard.
