Dart Throwers Out In Force

Hundreds (it really seemed like thousands) of youngsters responded to the invitation to take part in a dart-flying contest at the Botanic Reserve during the school holidays. Good prizes, too a return air trip for winner and parent to Wellington by courtesy' of N.A.C. This was the prize collected (left) by Anthony Adamson from Nelson branch manager of N.A.C, Mr Bob Bryan.

Biggest dart without a doubt was the one displayed by Malcolm Saunders, John Blair and Ian Johnson. Unfortunately, its performance didn't match its size.
