Comings and Goings
The Richmond and District Highland Pipe Band lost an enthusiastic member with the transfer to Tauranga of Noel Frater, the band's Pipe Major since it was formed in 1967. Noel, who is with the State Insurance, should be an asset to the Tauranga pipe band scene. He is seen here, during his farewell, with Messrs Ron Growcott, the president, left, and Mayor and patron of the band, and Muir McGlashan.

New arrivals from Pukekohe are John and Kath Dunn and children Christopher, Gregory, Katherine and Robyn. John is the new manager of the farm division of Fleming and Co, Hope.
