"The Amorous Prawn"

Theatregoers, and especially those who like a good comedy, will get their ribs tickled when they see Nelson Repertory Theatre's latest production "The Amorous Prawn". Produced by Joyce Rowland, the play will run for a week, from August 9. We don't intend to tell you much about this very funny play, except that the plot concerns the wife of an army officer who finds that while hubby is away on an assignment she has a chance to make some quick and easy money.

American Sam (Alan Lukies) and Suzie (Dorothy Goodman) find themselves in an embarrassing position.

Watch out, Suzie's at it again, this time with the Prawn (Lance Guyton).

"Confess, confess," Larry (Graham Rhind) demands of Alan Lukies, while the General (George Cameron) and Prawn try to sort out the situation.

Love's young dream. The two shy young domestics, Biddie (Peggy Harvey) and Willie (Tim McKay), have that look in I their eyes.

My, that Suzie gets around. This time she's making eyes at the corporal (Brian Richcoeur) who seems quite happy to co-operate.
