Thrilling Cycling

Only four cycle lengths separated the first 11 riders home in the 25-mile Nelson amateur road cycling championship to Spring Grove and return. And it was only by half a wheel, in a final burst, that enabled winner G. Clinton to edge out D. Palatchie. In third place was defending title-holder, B. Newport.
