Boys' College Sports

Big fields and close finishes helped maintain the interest of a large crowd at the annual athletic sports of Nelson College, College champions were D. C. Wood and T. C. Taylor (left) who tied for the junior title, B. R. Beattie (bottom left), senior, and G. H. Nelson (bottom right), intermediate.

Nelson, a fine track athlete, also shone in some of the field events. In the open discus event he was only 11½ ins short of a new record.
