Ballroom Dancing
Big entries from Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin boosted entries in the Easter ballroom dancing festival held in Nelson. Thirty-four contestants spent Easter Saturday afternoon and evening twirling round the Y.M.C.A. dance floor in intricate dance patterns. Climax of the contest was the Queen of the Ballroom competition in which 14 young ladies were entered.
