Singles Champions

Nelson club player, Charles Dell, won the Nelson Bowling Association's champion of champions title last month. Dell (top left) won his first major title when in the final he beat Kelvin Robinson (Brightwater), left, 22-11. The junior title was won by Bob Toll (United) below right. He beat Bruce Cook (Brightwater), far left, in the final. Other semi-finalists were D. G. Jansen (Wakefield), right, senior, and below from left, Neville Pankhurst (R. S. A.', junior), Ross Harding (Pohara, senior) and Bob Sanders (Nelson, junior).
