What is A "Wom Pom"?

Station 2ZN's "Family Show" is dragging viewers away from tele sets at nights in increasing numbers each week. The great value of the show is its listener participation. Recently, Lindsay Yeo asked children to describe for him a "Worn Pom", and from the flood of ideas which came into the studio, Lindsay drew this pic of a "Wom Pom". And the idea caught on. Shortly afterwards, Central School children put on paper their ideas of what a "Wom Pom" should look like. Some of their efforts, and that of Lindsay's, are displayed here by David Cook.
