Miss Shirley Johnson, daughter of Mr and Mrs E. W. Johnson, Haronga Road, is an air hostess with Nag, and is at present stationed in Wellington. She recently celebrated her 21st birthday, and announced her engagement to Richard John, son of Mr and Mrs J. R. McCryatal, Glendowle, Auckland.

Mrs E. Milller, 8 Hinaki Street, pictured with four generations of her family; Mrs W, Benson (daughter), Colleen Nicholson (great-grand daughter), and Mrs N. Nicholson (grand-daughter), all of Rotorua. With the exception of Colleen, they were all born in Gisborne.

Miss Gail Dow, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs J. G. Dow, 13 Kingsley Road, who has left for overseas on the "Northern Star" after studying andteaching music for three years at Chilton St. James, Wellington.
