Table Tennis Champions

The Poverty Bay table tennis 'championships were held in the Y.M.C.A. stadium. recently, and for the first time for several years, the open men's singles title was won, by a Gisborne competitor, Mr George Lowe.

The open women's singles championship was won by Miss Beverly Odams when she defeated the defending title holder, Miss Bernett Jones, in an exciting match.
