"The Shifting Heart"

The prize-winning Australian play, "The Shifting Heart", which is written by Melbournian playwright Richard Beynon, will be staged at the Gisborne Opera House on the 26th, 27th, and 28th of September by the Unity Theatre drama group.

Produced by Jack Roderick, the play is a comedy drama about two families living in a Melbourne suburb, one Australian, and the other Italian immigrants, and tells the story of their sometimes comical conflicting relationships.

An exciting, deeply moving play, it has won awards throughout the world, and has been staged in many New Zealand centres with considerable success.
