Scottish Welcome

Almost every Scots-blooded person in Glsborne, along with hundreds of their kiwi friends, were among the large crowd which extended a tremendous welcome to the cast of the Kenneth McKella Show when it arrived at Darton Field on a recent Sunday afternoon.

As they alighted from their plane, the famous Scottish personalities were greeted by the skirl o' the pipes and a loud cheer from the waiting crowd,

Among the cast were Jimmy Shand and his band, film star Duncan McRae, and the tenor, Kenneth McKella.
