First Class Entertainment

Top entertainers, drawn from nightclubs all over the world, combined to make Harry Wren's "Star-night Revue 62" an outstanding vaudeville stageshow which the thousands of Gisborne people who attended its four performances will not forget for a long time.

Elaborately presented, the show featured a variety of acts ranging from dancing glamour-birds to trampoline acrobatics, with a continuous musical backing by the Celebrity's Club Orchestra under the baton of Francis Van Dyk.

Star billing went to comedian, Freddie Morgan, who would be better known for his antics with the Spike Jones' Band, but who is also one of the greatest banjo players in the world.
