Cub Masters' Course

Twenty-four candidates, from the Hawkes Bay-Poverty Bay-East Coast districts, attended a wood badge preliminary training course for Cub Masters at the Gisborne Scout Hall.

The course, which was in the form of a cub pack meeting with the candidates grouped in sixes, was run by Miss June McGregor, the Dominion assistant Akela leader for training. Assisting her were Mesdames N. Stichbury (district cub master), D. Preddey (Warneford cub master), and J. Waugh (Te Hapara cub master).
