An eight-year-old pupil of Miss Valerie Fenny is Carynne Compton, Palmerston Road, who was most successful in the under 11 years sections at the recent Napier Competitions Festival. She is pictured with the Joan Raine challenge cup and the Scott-Johnstone cup.
