Schoolgirls' Drama Play

The Gisborne Girls' High School drama club production of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night was presented to capacity houses at the school's assembly hall recently.

Produced by Mrs M. Wright, the play was excellently presented, with realistic costuming and superb acting combining to make the performance a very credible one.

Climax of the play is when brother and sister, Sebastian and Viola, appear for first time together after being shipwrecked. Because of their likeness, they had been mistaken for each other, which led to various complications which are now solved. Characters are, from left: Antonio (Elizabeth Hudson), Orsino (Ngaire Saunders), Viola (Winifred Morice), Sebastian (Maxine Dahm), and Olivia (Eugenie Van Dijk).
