Gifted Dancers

This striking picture portrays two of Gisborne's most gifted ballet dancers, Ean Boyd and Diane Clare.
Diane, who is 16 years of age, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs F. R. Clare, 613 Aberdeen Road, and this year won the Gisborne Ballet Group's scholarship, which takes her to Auckland next month to attend a three-week summer school in ballet work.
Ean, who is the son of Mrs A. Dobbs, 14 McLean St, and was well known as a dancer here, is now with the Royal Ballet School in England.
Both are pupils of the Jean Goodwin School of Dancing. The picture was taken by Mayfair Studios.
