Gardens From The Air

Portion of Gisborne's controversial botanical gardens can be seen in this picture. In the bottom right-hand corner is the gardens bridge, for the repair or replacement of which a fund has been launched. The High School rectory field is the playing area in the upper settled portion of the picture, with Barry Park at right. The aerodrome is beyond the city at top left.
