One of the most interesting albums to come our way is that of Phil Andrew, which includes a whole section of captured German photographs, from which we printed a selection in the May "Photo News", This picture shows Phil Andrew (right) with a friend, Stan Walters, in the desert in 1940.

From "Snowy" Hambling, 18 Leith Street.. ... This picture of "Wellington Terrace" in the Dardanelles, June 1915, will revive memories for old digs who were there.

Another from Sergeant O. W. Wadham, Linton Camp (formerly of Gisborne).... "Quaise meeter, bintl" is the inscription for this picture of a Cairo cabaret type all Middle East Kiwis will remember.

N. O'Connell, 318 Ormond Road, is the Kiwi on the left in this picture, taken in Egypt after the first exchange of prisoners in World War II. The party was repatriated from Italy, and the exchange took place in Turkey.
