Visitors to The Port

Gisborne port has had a variety of visitors during the last month. First to come in was the frigate H.M.N.Z.S. Rotoiti, which arrived for a three-day stay. Now a training ship, Rotoiti had on board a complement of ratings from Tamaki.

Next in was the Japanese tunafishing vessel Hosha Maru, making an emergency call with an injured crew-member.

While she was in port, a visit was paid by two navy launches of the Fishery Protection Squadron, Paea and Mako, bound from Auckland to Bluff.
