At the Gisborne Savage Club's first Korero of the year, two members who joined the club in its first year --1913--were honoured with life membership. They were Messrs F. W. Nolan (at left ) and F. R. Ball, seen with the outgoing Rangitira, Mr J. A. Thorburn.
Both had given the club good service over a long period of years, said Mr Thorburn.
