Last year at the annual Easter golf tournament at Castlecliff, Wanganui, a team from Wairoa met a team from Christchurch. They decided to meet each year at the tournament, and the first of these "blood" matches was held this Easter. A shield was made for this competition by Mr N. This four generation picture was taken on Christmas Day at the home of Mrs T. Galloway, Waerenga-a-hika. Standing are Mr A. Pardoe, of Mangakino, and his son, Mr Bob Pardoe, Gisborne. No name for this beautiful baby.... she's just advertising the Gisborne-East Coast Baby Photo Contest now in its early stages. Prizes, from K.K.K. and Mayfair Studios, total £115, and proceeds are for the Y.M.C.A. Semifinalists will appear in "Photo News" starting next month.
