Did you think that cold snap last week was really cold?

Well, take a look at these pictures and they will warm you up no end.

The pics come from Mr Charles Jones, 23 Glasgow Crescent, Gisborne. He was a petty officer on the H.M.S. Nigeria when she was engaged on convoy duties to Murmansk, the northern Russian port 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle.
