Owen Mitchell, 162 Ormond Road, is back in Gisborne again after an 18-month tour of England and the Continent. Owen is seen here with a friend, Colin Christison, of Dannevirke, at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

Wildish's old building is flattened now, but when workmen were wrecking it, the clouds of dust coming out suggested more than once that the place was on fire.
