Richard Brownie, son of Mrs R. M. Brownie, 92 Iranui Road, has been in England for 14 months now, serving as assistant crewing officer for B. O. A. C. He is seen in the picture above, at left, with some friends before taking off on a pleasure flight to Holland. Richard flies with the Biggin Hill Aero Club, where the Battle of Britain Memorial (above right) is situated.
