Well, some people have all the luck! Here are Colin Atkins (Te Karaka), Dave Craill (Sheehan Street), and Frank Anderson (Aaquith Street) photographed at the airport the other day. And where were they going? To South Africa to watch the All Blacks on tour.

Mr Wilfred C. Kohn, of Gisborne, who leaves next week on a three-month visit to the U.S. and Canada. His departure will end what surely must be a record in Savage Club annals. An ex-Rangitira of the Gisborne Club, Mr Kohn has entertained in one way or another at every meeting for 31 years. While overseas, Mr Kohn, who will be accompanied by his wife, will attend the 2nd Commonwealth and Empire Law Conference.
