Snapped while giving an item at a Woolworth's social evening are two natives of Holland now resident in the city. They are Mr and Mrs Kees Pondman. Kees, who learnt to play the guitar in his home country, delighted to play at sessions of the Haarlemse Jazz Club. He came out to NZ in 1957. His wife, Wilhelmina, who sings attractively in five languages, also plays the guitar and the maracas.
