Mr M. A. Russell, formerly of Gisborne and Tokomaru Bay, and now on the staff of the Bank of New Zealand in Ba, Fiji, keeps in touch with Gisborne affairs by reading "Photo News". Pastor L. H. Blair, minister of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Gisborne for two years, who has left on transfer to Tamworth, N. S. W.

Mr R. H. Thackwell, assistant district officer at the Labour Department, Gisborne, who is retiring after 40 years with the department. Mr and Mrs Thackwell will be living in Levin. Their daughter Sylvia, who is also pictured, is at present in England, where she is attending riding schools.
