Tolaga Bay's Seal
An object of much interest in Tolaga Bay for the past month has been this elephant seal, or sea elephant. It is apparently the same one as came ashore at Napier last summer, and which was taken 10 miles out to sea and released.
At Tolaga the seal has provided residents and visitors with endless amusement as it disports itself on the banks of the river.
