Winners in three Cities

Ballroom Girls of the Year in Gisborne, New Plymouth and Wanganui have now been selected in competitions run by "Photo News" in each of these three cities.

Gisborne's winner, Miss Jennifer Stevens, appears this issue on our colour cover.

New Plymouth's winner, Miss Shirley Whitehead, is pictured at left.

Wanganui's winner, Miss Gabriel Chainey, is seen at right.

Total entries received exceeded the 200 mark, and prizes were in excess of £200.

In each city the competition excited much interest and speculation, and the high standard of entries gave the judges a difficult task.
