Cover girl for this issue is little Susan Pope, daughter of Mr and Mrs A. N. Pope, 9 Kowhai Street, featured with the doll imported for her from Holland by her grandmother, Mrs McDiarmid, of Balclutha. In a recent doll contest at Te Hapara School Gala, decided by popular penny vote, Susan's doll took first prize.
