Trial by Night

A thorough knowledge of roads on the Gisborne flat was necessary for competitors in the Meyrick Brothers Rose Bowl night reliability trial held over a 60-mile course recently by the Gisborne Car Club.

The trial was a minor triumph for the fair sex, as all three place-getters had women navigators.
