Walsh--Torrie: Rugby football All Black Pat Walsh was married recently to Miss Noeline Torrie, only daughter of Mr and Mrs E. Torrie, of Opotiki. Their attendants were Mr Des Sainsbury. Opotiki, Mr Kevin Barry, Auckland, Miss Beth Goodwin, Waipukurau, and Miss Sally Shaw, Opotiki. Both the bride and Miss Shaw have a wide circle of friends and relations in Gisborne.

Woods--Robb.A wedding of Gisborne interest took place at Waimate, in South Canterbury, recently, when Joan Isobel, daughter of Mr and Mrs A. G. Woods of Waimate, was married to Brian Geoffrey, son of Mr and Mrs J. W. Robb, Patutahi.
The attendants are Mr B. McFarlane, Gisborne, Mrs J. Cameron, and the flower-girl, Pamela Wood, of Waimate.
