When our photographer called at the home of Mr and Mrs F. Habgood, 6 Collins St., to take some pictures of Mrs E. H. Baker's Siamese kittens, he found two of the six-week kitties engaged in this intriguing piece of cat-play with the telephone.

"Let's ring up somebody on this gadget".

"Mum, give us a number out of that book!"

"Say, they've changed the numbers. Where's mum?"

"Well, if mum won't play, we'll get a number from this calendar"

"Now, how do you work this thing?"

"It's quite simple...you dial like this...One...One...One"

"My name's Muggins... I've got to explain to the police when they arrive...."
