Roving Camera

When a Tiger Moth aircraft owned by East Coast Air Services Ltd. crashed into the hillside near the Paparatu Station at Waingake last month, the pilot, Mr John Phillips, of Mill Road, Gisborne, was admitted to Cook Hospital with back injuries. Pictures on this page of the crashed plane were taken by Mr Gordon Pointon, of Paparatu Station.
