Notable Visitor

Largest assembly of schoolchildren to be seen in Gisborn since the Queen's visit in 1954 gathered at the Intermediate School to greet the Governor-General, Lord Cobham. Part of the gathering is seen above. Below, Lord Cobham acknowledges Maori welcome at Poho-o-rawiri.
