Picnic at Waihirere

Beautiful weather favoured the annual picnic of the Gisborne Returned Services Association on a Sunday last month. The picnic was held in that ideal spot, Waihirere Domain. With its green lawns, bathing pool, children's swings and slides, and the attraction of bush walks, Waihirere proved a pleasant spot for visitors of all ages.

The R.S.A. provided a full list of attractions, including free ice creams and drinks, and a good time was had by all.
