Recent change in the management of the Gisborne branch of the Union Steam Ship Company brings Mr G. H. Leopard to this city. Mr Leopard was previously stationed at Apia, Western Samoa.

The previous Gisborne manager, Mr R. E. Pirani, has taken up his new appointment at the company's head office in Wellington.

Mr T. Perston, Palmerston Road, who has retired after 30 years as caretaker at the Gisborne Boy's High School and the Gisbome Girls' High School.
During Mr Perston's long association with the High School many thousands of boys have come to know him passing well, so that he would probably qualify as one of the best-known men in Gisborne.

The Rev. Bro. Brendon, late of Xavier College, in Christchurch, who has taken up a teaching appointment at Marist College, Gisborne.

The Rev. Bros.Cyprian, who has left to take up a teaching appointment at St. Bernard's College, Lower Hutt. Brother Cyprian was farewelled by the Marist Cricket and Football Clubs on January 30.
