Burns Club Dinner

The bi-centenary of the birth of the "Immortal Bard", Robbie Burns, was celebrated at a Burns Club dinner in the War Memorial Hall on January 24, when the chief speaker was the Prime Minister, Mr W. Nash.

Mr Nash on arrival was presented with a floral emblem by Mrs W. Cameron, supported by Mr Cameron.

Mr Nash, accompanied by the president of the Gisborne Burns Club, Mr W. B. Turbitt, being piped into the hail for the dinner.
