It Could Happen...

Although Power Board linesmen work all day and every day in circumstances which would scare the living daylights out of other people, accidents are rare. Just the same, the Power Board makes sure that its personnel are fully trained in the steps to be taken in the event of an accident.

Pictures on this page show linesmen going through a realistic training programme in which one of their number has supposedly been trapped in contact with high-voltage lines.
